Our family has been on the go for about a month now. Randy headed down to San Diego for a shooting competition and A.J. and I headed to SLC to visit family. Randy joined us for the last few days of the trip. We were there for a little more than two weeks. It's always amazing how busy you stay when you are having fun. A.J. loved cruising around Grandma's patio on the four-wheeler. After spending a few days with his cousin, Ike, A.J. started walking. He is loving his new-found freedom. We got to do many things while we were in SL: we had picnics in the park, grandma's backyard, a bbq at Uncle C.J.'s, we went to the zoo,
we took a road trip to Lava Hot Springs, (where I got my first professional massage) and we took lots of walks. Grandpa and Grandma Cheryl even flew up from San Diego to see us. It was a great trip.
Our trip to UT was followed up by a trip to Anchorage via the ferry. We like taking the ferry because we don't feel rushed to get anywhere and can enjoy the ride. The views are awesome it's a mini AK cruise. Our friends hitched a ride with us. It was great having someone to meet up with every once in a while. One of the highlights of our trip was stopping at Alyeska Resort where we took the tram to the top. It was warm enough that we didn't need coats. As you can see from the picture the view was worth the trip. Our trip ended with putting A.J.'s new bunk bed together. He has been out of the crib for a few months now and it was time for him to sleep in his own big-boy-bed.
